How often do you think of an accountant as being an exuberant person? Have you ever heard an accounting type refer to herself or himself as exuberant? Well Scott A. Heintzelman, CPA, CMA, CFE of McKonly & Asbury, LLP in Camp Hill, PA refers to himself that way, and I’m inclined to agree!

The Exuberant Accountant is an excellent blog about accounting issues. The articles speak to ordinary consumers, accountants, students, and other professionals who are marketing their practices. Scott posts at least a couple of times a week, and sometimes more often than that. I find his articles to be very practical and easy to read.

I decided to start this blog to share the many things I have learned regarding employee engagement, mentoring young people, advising business owners, running successful organizations, working with family-owned businesses, etc.

Much of what I have learned is the result of being a partner at one of the Best Places to Work in the State of Pennsylvania,  (McKonly & Asbury LLP) learning from my many business clients and finally from the numerous business books I have read.
